Just finished installing the essentials this week on the mustang which is going to be driven by Jason Ellis the professional skate boarder and auto cross rider. Jason Ellis is the bald guy wearing the white t-shirt in the pics and after hanging out with him for the day, he is a pretty cool guy from the land down under. Guy in Green "drift brigade" is Dennis George who owns/ drives the Wanli tires Drift car also very cool guy... Now we've never done anything more than turn the car over and got it running since it was stolen until today. The pcm re flash was provided by vortech and we had no idea what was going to happen. But AFR's were 10.8-11.7 while under boost and 14's at idle... we were all nervous at first but as the day went out, we all had a blast till we got rained out by a severe T-storm...

Only issue that aroused was the fuel cutting out @ 1/4 tank with the sloshing around and walbro... go figure right?

Cant stand jason ellis on Octane 20 let alone in person. i change the station every time he comes on or i mute it until he is done talking. he is so biased toward bands and trashes others and his humor is not even humor. he needs replaced

as for the cars, sounds and looks good. you guys did a good job with the car.

I honestly never heard of him before all this starting happening, nor knew what he was about other than I was told we were building a drift mustang for a professional skate boarder. So i honestly don't know what his view point are about. He did start talking about that movie with Kevin James while I was shooting the @!#$ with him. He showing some left over bruises from the filming and was describing what his part was. Now i am not sure if i am legally allowed to say what it is since this is on the www, so i am going to refrain from that. But i'm going to get a picture with him tomorrow for @!#$s n giggles.

But back about the mustang. I know were all going to miss it when it goes on tour with him and out of our hands. I think this gave Ryan the Owner of RD Fabs to start seriously thinking about building the 240 we have into a drift car. Ha ha...

I don't have anything new from what has changed over the winter as it just got back to the shop from being in the paint booth and blowing the transmission on the dyno. The motor over the winter was fully built from top to bottom but here is last summers pics of it. I took some pics of it today on the shop's high res cam but i don't have that with me, the pic above are on my crappy 4.1 meg cam.

New this year, no more gay white stripe and everything is clean looking. I'm still undecided about his choice on rims, but they are growing on my slowly.

Yea well what can you do?... Go to the car shows and we'll be there with em. The is getting completely re-painted and and a body kit put on it over the next 2 weeks. Then also, I think our name is going on the rear 1/4 pannels since we pretty much built the whole car for them. Here is the pictures from day 2...



























The sponsors battery shorted out when it came loose since the one they supplied was way to small and wasn't able to be tied down securely. Notice the yellow car in the background where the battery came from for the rest of the days fun...
