1988 olds delta 88 3.8 ?'s

what all parts would I need to run a M62 on the 3.8l that came in this car? I have compiled what I think would be a complete parts list but am not sure so if you guys could tell me what I'm missing it would sure be helpful.

1. Eaton M62

2. Lower intake manifold??

3. injectors from 3800 sc?

4. MAF from 3800 s/c

5. ecu from 3800 sc?

Does this sound about right besides gaskets and other small assorted items??

m62 = ick

if the series 1 is like the series 2 , then you need the complete top end of the motor

I apologize for the incorrect information its a 1987 olds. So it would require the matching heads,intake manifold,etc. or just from the intake up? and would it be better to step up to the M90? Are the newer cylinder heads even compatible with the 87 block?

thanks for the help...I'm kinda new to the 3.8 scene

the series 2 engines , the heads were different between the n/a and s/c models , the s/c have the injectors in the header , where the n/a they are in the lower intake

im not that familiar with the series 1 motors , just know the sereis 1 s/c sucks , they have a super small pulley on them , think its in the low 2" range , where the M90 series 2 s/c came with a 3.8" pulley

What would be interesting to note is if the l67 heads and up will bolt on to the older style block.

I am currently looking for a donor 3800 for the swap instead of trying to modify anything...just gotta find one now.
