I bought the car on July 5th 07 and I'm looking to sell it already. I ran into some money trouble so I've gotta sell her this spring. It'll be a sad day for me..I always wanted a 3rd gen Camaro and I love this car. Anyways, I'm wondering what you guys think it's worth. Here's a list of the features and stuff followed by the pics:
1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
305 V8 Engine, 700R4 Auto Trans
95,000 Original Miles (Entire car is all original)
Ice Cold A/C
Power Windows, Locks
Tilt Wheel
T-Tops (don't leak!)
Faded Paint
Small Oil Leak @ the Oil Cap
Light surface rust in 4 small spots
Clean Underneath
Needs Hood and Hatch struts replaced
Runs and Drives good
It's 25 years old now and I believe its considered a classic, so what do you think a fair asking price would be?
I'll trade ya a tuna sandwich for it.
Um...Thanks and I'll give you a bread crumb for your Berretta. Serious replies anyone? Thanks.
honestly, 95,000 all original miles w/ original engine, i would say you could get 3,000 dollars for it from a serious buyer
People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Ohh alright, thanks for looking that up man!!
i know this prolly doesnt help but around here where i live a nice low milage original Z28 like that could go for anywhere from $5,000 to prolly $7,500.. if it didnt have rust or need the minor repairs u listed i bet it'd fetch $9,000-10,000 no problem...

I'm honestly not expecting to get more than $2500. I think i'll be lucky if I can get more than $2500, especially here in Buffalo NY.
Moment you said faded paint and slight rust, the absolute most you'd have gotten out of me for it is $3K. It may be old enough to qualify for classic status, but there's still more than enough of them around, and they weren't all that impressive in original form anyway (compared to say, a 1st gen camaro). In IMMACULATE condition I rarely see them go for more than $5-8K and thats with everything perfect, really low miles, and comparatively rare option packages.

I'd ask $3500 obo, you never know how bad someone might want one. Try posting on thirdgen.org I'm pretty sure you'd get a buyer quick.
but danm I wish my 84 looked just as good. Judging by the shot of the engine bay it is not an L69 is it?
how much did ya pay for it?
Yeah its the L69, I paid $2150 for it

, Im hoping to at least get my money back.
not sure what year the 5spd manual started , but i know they did come with a 4spd manual
so might want to double check what they mean by trans option
I'm pretty sure you can sell it for your purchase price.

I'd probably be happy walking away with $2200, something is better than nothing.
nice car, if i didnt have a jeep rot box for a toy i'd love it. where in buffalo are you?
women are like cars you have to test drive the new one before you trade in the old one
Good body and looks like its in great shape, that motor however is @!#$ the 305 is legendary weak, either get it rebuilt or find a 85-92 TPI 5.7 motor, preferably a 92 they were the best engine in the 3rd gens a nice healthy 240hp
