The front kinda reminds me of those new Acura/Honda Civic.
Yeah, looks like a Honda Civic with a Lancer butt. And that looks like a prototype so it probably won't look as good in production form... and it's still a Kia
Ahhhhhhh... so that's how they're gonna recycle one of the unused FWD Tiburon design studies now that the new Tib is going to be RWD.

THE TIB IS NOT GONNA BE RWD!!!!
the tib has been redesigned but will remain front-wheel drive. the genesis is the new real-wheel drive
and the car above is still a kia a.k.a. biggest piece of @!#$ ever created. them cars are just aweful
People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......
not bad lookin , does look similar to the current civic
Looks good to me
My Cav
I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
looks good but I'd never buy one
I don't much care for the wheels, but the interior looks pretty cool actually
wow that actually looks extremely good
I don't care if that's a Kia or not, that thing looks great.
Those wheels must weigh a ton.
Nice car anyhow.

- Barely legal tint.
I dont care what it looks like and how much hp it has. It still says KIA on it and makes me LOL. I find it very hard to take KIA as a actual car company, their cars look like toys.

My thoughts exactly. I like the interior styling, but I'd still never own a kia.
IMO, saying things like "its still a kia" or i wouldnt buy one only because its a KIA is a close minded attitude..
who cares if its a KIA? daewoo? or any other company you think is "unworthy"?
if its a decent car with a small price tag, I would snag it up in a second....... i cant imagine the look on people's faces when their civic or cavalier gets owned by a kia
having said that, if that car actually came into production, with anything over 200 hp and a good price tag, id snag it up in a heartbeat!
BTW, we debadge our chevys, pontiacs, nissans, mitsu's, honda... err not so much honda...
but the point is we debadge our cars anyway, who says we cant debadge a kia if you dont like the badge?
Well, then it's Kia's version of the Tiburon. So either way... Fact is that Kia and Hyundai are about as different as Pontiac and Chevrolet. There's SOME differences but overall they share platforms, engines and everything else. So that Kia will have Tib internals, mark my words.

it isnt close minded to not buy something because of who manufactures it. its a matter of preference. certain brands carry more prestige, history, and class than others. its the difference between owning a trailer and a mansion. sure, theyre both houses.....but you get made fun of for living in one of them even if it functions the same as the other
now saying something like "oh a kia can never be made to go fast/look good/etc" would be a more close minded statement.

That is like comparing a Mercedes-Benz SLR to a sunfire. A mansion is totally different league than a trailer.
No matter what you drive, someone else will make fun of you. If you drive a Sunfire/Cavalier, Some Honda driver will make fun of you. If you drive a honda, nissan driver will make fun of them. etc....
If this car is produced with what it has now, it will be pretty competitive in the compact market. Look like the SRT4 Neon. People made fun of it all the time but those who bought it loved it.
I hate people say "its a still a Hyundai or KIA" If you are a car enthusiast, it wouldn't matter what company made it.
in all seriousness, i would rather own that kia than another j-body
and im being dead ass serious

I agree whole heartedly.
Exactly. Back in the day, people had the same thing about Hondas, Nissans, Mitsubishis, etc. Now look at how things stand. I don't know many people who say things like that about these manufactures unless they've personally had an experience of bad luck with one of them. Just saying a car is unworthy because of the name on its badge is an unfortunate way to be. The car should be judged on its own merits. I can completely understand a statement like "I had Kia a few years ago, and it gave me nothing but problems, and therefore I wouldn't own this car even if I liked how it looks." But simply saying, "Ugh, it's a Kia, and simply for that I think it's worthless," just doesn't make sense to me.
I personally like how this car looks. I've had two Hyundai Elantras for my wife (only replaced the first because it was totaled when an F350 decided not to stop behind my wife at a red light), and would buy a Hyundai/Kia again in a hearbeat. I would probably never own this car in particular because it'd be too small for me personally, but it's nice to see Kia branching out from just sedans and SUVs to grow a consumer base, and this car in particular looks like it could be a great start.
