I am going to look at these two GXP's today, which one do you think is the better deal?
The 07 with 50,000kms for $21,000
2007 GXP
or
The 06 with 36,500kms for $22,000
2006 GXP
How much warranty is left on each of these in terms of years, and kms? The newer one with more kms, could be out of warranty faster due to mileage correct?
Thanks for the help.

Hey Gutty96,
It says the 2006 is a manual transmission??? I'm pretty sure thats a miss print. Anyway. get the 2007, they have 100,000 miles/5year powertrain warranty. So you have 50,000miles left over the 2006 13,500miles. I'm pretty sure its the same in Canada.
So if color doesn't matter, get the 2007.
liking the options on the 06 better, if you can talk them down more id go for that
in 2006 they started the 100,000 mile 5year warrenty so the warrenty should be the same on all of them, it just a battle between options/price and miles.

Nope, I know this b/c my roommate has a 2006 Monte Carlo SS and it only has the original 3 years/36000miles and he was bitched about it.
Look here.

Look at the 9th question down.
Canada: 5 years, 160,000KM warranty started in 07.
I am on my way to go look now.
I will let you know what I thought when I get home tonight.

So, I looked at them, worked out the numbers with the dealer.
They wanted my Seirra, and $9,000 for the Silver 07 in the first post. Not the best deal in the world I know, but I still wanted it. However, the GF put her foot down at the last minute and told me I couldn't spend that much, as she wants to put a wrap around deck around the house this summer.
Guess who is getting a wrap around deck this summer?

I feel your pain. Decks are nice too.
damn , i heard the whip crackin here, i love my gxp, here are my issues i have had so far, steering shaft replaced, i did brakes front and rear, and they are expensive
new tires again expensive due to the wider tires up front and smaller out back, wheel bearing replaced,, a wiring issue fixed, monsoon amp replaced, updated heater hoses, and heat acuator replaced, right inner and outer tie rod, and to day steering wheel part replaced due to peeling
all minor stuff gas milage sucks, i get 15.7 a gallon, but who cares it has a ls4!!!
i really have nothing bad to say about the car at all, but i guess you will be enjoying a new deck, instead of 300 ponies
crack! crack!!! lol
can i haz bondo
wow 15.7 mpg ... damn that sucks hardcore.. even when i was really hard on my A4 LS1 Trans Am i always managed to get atleast 17-18mpg and if i was nice to it i could manage atleast 20-22mpg.
The people I know with the 5.3 have been very happy with the milleage.
