This is the crown jewl of my shipment. I'm keeping her for sure.
1992 Subaru WRX Impreza,
21,000 kms (14,000 miles)
auction grade 4.0
original owner
turbo timer (other than that it's completely stock)
One surprise, It has a Sony nav system.
OEM sideskirts, they need to be painted though. Same with the door handles.
Rear spats.
Clean trunk:
I love the spoiler, much cleaner than that STi wing.
Anyone want a nav system?
I love the Nardi wheel, it looks mint.
Dash looks brand new:
Pretty good stock wheels, the tires look brand new, lots of tread. These should make good winter rims. 8) 8)
And the down side: The reason I need some Alcantara. What was subaru thinking??

Damn that is an ugly car. Just nasty. (I think) But other than that, that is an awesome car.
if you live in canada like he does, its easier to get cars than it is in the us. all you have to do is wait the 10 years then import them in.

There too old for customs to bother. The law from waht GAM said was 15years old and older car could be imported to Canada. I assume that a mechanical inspection is needed but that's it.

Yeah! ^ ^ ^
Speaking of Matt, I'm surpreised he hasn't posted yet.
anything 15 years or older is admissable into Canada, you just need to complete an Out Of Province inspection and you're done.
No, they will not get cut up at customs.

No they won't.
Canada's exclusion law prohibits the importation of cars from other countries for 15 years from the month/year of manufacture. Basically if you want to bring the car in and plate it for use on Canadian roads, it has to be over 15 years old. If it's under, you basically have to Mod the living snot out of it to make it conform to Canadian laws.
In the case of these little gems, they're over 15 years old, they can come in with a minimum of paper work (IIRC, completion of all recall campaigns, title search, exportation inspection, importation inspection).
I'm jealous.. a little. I'd like the 180sx or a nice little Toyota Aristo or Soarer (I need a nice sedan to put kids with Civics in their place with
)
Nice purchases, but are you going to be able to complete school with enough money?
^ ^ I like the Aristo, gotta lova a 2jzgte in a lexus. I wish they cam in a manual version, then i'd own one. I guess I will have to wait 5 years for the Altezza to become legal.
Yeah I still have enough money to finish school. LOL I am in dentisty so the bank will up my line of credit to 200K if i want them to.
I've got the 180 sold and a serious buyer on the EVO, the BMW might go to my father and if not I wont have any problems getting rid of a 3 series with 40 K on the ticker. I'm keeping the Scoob so that only leaves the MR2 to sell. Not half bad for a 1st timer.

Damn Canadians and you crazy import laws....yes I am in envy.

Too bad the Citroen I want is too young. The Subaru will blen well with the other cars on the road. I'm sure not alot of people will notice. Honestly, it look just like another Sub to me.

Luc: You can get an Altezza into Canada, the only thing you have to do is swap the head/tail lights out for a North American pair, and I believe put in the child safety restraints.
The IS300's rear-deck and seat (and maybe belts w/pre-tensioners, though I'm not sure) should work just fine... IIRC they're the same p/n from Toyota.
Gilles: You can try to get a Citroen into Canada from St. Pierre & Miquelon, but I'm not entirely sure of the process.

Who, whoa whoa. What?
Where are you getting this information?
I didn't think you could get anything newer than 15 years in, no matter whether we had the car here in canada or not.
