Well my wifes 89 blazer kicked the bucket and I am getting her another car this saturday. The two she really likes are the 03 tiburion V6 gt and the 03 PT Cruiser Turbo.
I really like the tib and she as a woman is so damn indecisive. I really like the space in the PT but love the interior and styling of the tib. The thing is we don't have any kids so we really don't need the space.
Has anyone had any experience with any of these cars good or bad?
my mom has a Pt .. i like how its drives. not to mention the healight output is one of the best i have every seen in a none HID car. i have used it to pick up a couple large TVs. the seat come out completely. but i would rather have a Tibby as far as styling goes.

id recommend the H2 from COD4, while versatile and not so good on gas, it can run a lot of things over and is very effective.
I like the looks of a tiburon, do you have some other vehicle to haul things around in? If not then i would recommend the PT although i think they are ugly
The HHR is a similar option to the PT loser but i still think thats ugly too
get the tib , youll be better off
Well vince I don't haul anything really. Our main grocery getting is my jeep wrangler. was reading car reviews and seems like the tib has better reliability than the PT any way. But have a turbo would be sweet. either one will be an auto since she can drive manual.
I say tibby...I have a hatred for anything chrysler
Out of those two, I guess the tibby.

Tiburon.. I can't stand the PT..
I would say Tiburon. It's an all around better car.
PT Loser...
Out of those two prob the tibby.
Kind of odd choices to narrow it down to.
Neither have much of anything in common aside from autos and fwd.
(Chryslerls autos FTL idk about Hyundai's)

Ok, to be honest, even as a former chrysler mechanic, I can't find tooo much fault with the PT's.... granted, they were a bitch to work on (tight engine bay) but generally speaking, didn't have many problems. The tib's are hot, but if its a stick, beware, its got a dual-mass flywheel just like the one thats been killing stock VW clutches prematurely ever since the Mk4 was introduced, so if you can't do a clutch/flywheel job yourself, or have the money to pay someone to, I wouldn't recommend the stick. I ended up doing a clutch on a used Tib we sold with 27K miles? Something like that. But then again, Chrysler's trannies aren't notorious for reliability either, and the one from the PT turbo is reinforced compared to a standard PT so you won't be finding many for cheap in the junkyard like you probably would with a standard PT.

Tiburon.
Only reason for my choice: PTCruisers are dogs (Haven't tried the turbo, so I can't say), and the whole retro thing does nothing for me.
i'll be different and say the pt cruiser. you're looking at the same engine the srt4's have in them. personally, i don't think they look all that bad either. (i checked out a turbo vert at one of the local dealers and it seemed like a nice car...)
Tib FTW.... but watch for tranny problems if you get the 6-speed. My cluctch just started slipping, and i did some research and there is some sort of lawsuit trying to be put againt Hyundai about it. Other than that Ive had no problems with mine

My wife had a 2.0 tibby with auto. I loved it so the V6 is brobably even nicer. Oh and the sound of the facory exhaust is nice. The best thing to do is drive it. But I will also have to agree Hyundai > Chrysler in just about every aspect.

I drove the PT Turbo... I wasn't impressed. It was kinda like when I got to drive my Grandfathers Caddy, I got all excited cause it had a V8, revved that bad boy up...nothing.
What's the point of all that "power" in something so small, goofy looking, and poor handling.
Haven't driven a Tib... but I'm not impressed either. Next choice please...
