well as i said before my 98 z24 turned a rod bearing.so my father bought it as i was in the midst of buying a house and didn't need another headache.i bought this 1995 chrysler intrepid as a emergency family car.after driving it for several months it was needing many repairs.which was fine with me cause the car was cheap.well my aunts boyfriends mother died leaving him her 93 ford topaz which he didn't need as he just purchased a new car so i got it for the sum of 100 bucks(gotaa love family)so the trep is our new project we wanna make a nice family /project car outta her let me know what u think

and my new ford tempo uh oh i said the f word

and for anyone wondering this was my z24 now it's my dads new project he has lots of plans for it also

this is the body kit we hope to install

we want the kit we are undecided on the spoiuler and scoop.i am not a fan of the spoiler but i somewhat like the scoops
this is the spoiler i am putting on

and this is prety much what i had in mind

the wheels are of a 300m class.the only other thing we are unsure of is the color either a dark metallic blue or maybe plum crazy purple metallic also possibly a black metallic but i really like the thoughts of the blue
we are also considering the wheels also

so what do yall think c&c welcome

Spun bearings or transmissions.

Seems you chose transmissions.

I would just do what was required to keep it running.

Sell the Intrepid.. it's the best choice. Those cars are so freaking ugly, and it looks even worse with that body kit. Not worth the money AT ALL. Use it as a field beater or something..

Just p-p-please don't put Focal wheels on it! They have to be one of the most busy overdone wheel brands on the face of the earth.

First off, I can appreciate being broke and doing the best with what you have.
Second, the words "body kit" and "budget" are mutually exclusive.

I mean come on... topaz, beater intrepid, 1941 buick, house, 2 kids, the misses, your aunts boyfriends mother's ghost ... you have too many obligations for a man on a budget. You need to consolidate... and since you can't sow your kids together (effectively making one cheap-to-feed mutant child ), than I would strongly suggest you ditch whichever car causes you the most grief, and keep the other driver a simple project. For example, if you decide to keep the topaz than keep your mods simple, tint, cd player, mild drop, and a larger rims from a newer ford (oem take-offs are cheap). Take the body-kit money and put it into your house, your kids, your 1941 buick or a better car in the future; don't distribute your limited cash flow on so many projects.

Wow and I thought the Intrepid name was a Dodge exclusive.

Guess I learned my something new today.

As for the Chrysler Intrepid, I'm in agreement with most here. If you're going to keep the Intrepid, keep is as a beater, not a project car as I have a feeling you'll end up putting more money/time into that car than it rightfully deserves.
