Hey guys, need some info:
Friend of mine was rear ended totaling his Plymouth breeze worth about 2500, and for 500, snagged a beat down Mx-6 . This car has seen better days, but, it runs and its quick when put next to the Breeze which is totaled. He needs a new exhaust. Bad. Horrible even. What do you recommend? Buy a more performance based cat and muffler and have it installed? The shop quoted him 1000 for an oem replacement. Isn't that a bit high? If the headers needed to be done as well, maybe, but i don't know that much about it.
This car is beat, and except for maybe an intake, it wont see much in the way of mods. Any ideas?
go pick up a cheapo dynomax and have some tube bent , for a beater get crush bent if it's a lot cheaper there
just take it to an exhaust shop and have it custom made and it shouldn't cost you $1000 maybe half of that at worst, it all depending on what needs to be replaced
