I have to say that picture there looks alot better than the current ones. A little tad of roundness definitely helped that car out!!

i think i saw a commercial for it... and i think it said something like, yes its ugly, yes its boxy, and its back.. or something along those lines, i found it kind of funny considering toyota itself said it was ugly lol

They improved the "snowplow" front end and made it less of a shoebox, but yeah, now it's a toaster now

i believe it now has the same engine as the Tc....the Tc is the only scion i would ever sport. im not to much into toasters
The thing that irks me about the new xB is the fact that it only has one reverse light! It would be a
little better if it was centered, but it just looks stupid to me to have it on the left, looks unbalanced.
It looks so out of place on the car and bugs the heck outta me. Argh!
Everyone seems to want to praise the xB now that it has the 2.4L motor from the tC (158 HP), but no one really seems to mention that the car also gained 600 lbs from last model year 2006 (3020lbs vs 2395lbs).
they have done the impossible, they made it even uglier

I disagree with them making it heavier and using a larger engine. To me that seems to defeat the purpose of the vehicle. Small, light, and utilitarian. I actually liked the way the old one, and this one too I guess, looked. Not in a Porsche 911 beautifull way, but in a kind of neat / different way.

I dunno... I like this one... in fact, its the only scion other than the TC that I'd even consider owning... Why? Because a 300+ hp new xB is a lot more possible than doing the same in the old xB. And that, in my mind, makes up for the 600 lbs added...

Seriously, I know the xB grew in size, but why 600lbs heavier? I mean the the xD (replaced xA) grew also, but it didn't get that heavy. Did the the GM engineers engineer the xB now?

that 1 reverse light to the side bugs the crap outta me too. my buddy's fiance has one and i was following them someplace and it's all i could look at. lol
i like the new design better than the old one, but i'm still not a huge fan of the vehicle overall. to each their own.
