He only made Home Depot a super giant.... WHAT a horrible decision..... "rolleyes".

IT is about business, as LaSorda said in the article "check the egos at the door" AND rebuild a vital company who plays a key role in the North American economy.

Guys, the point here is that it doesn't do the American economy any good to only offer buyers who want a car from an American based company only two choices! Besides, having good, long Mopar history myself, I'm glad to hear it's back under American control. Bob Lutz ( the "Putz" I call him ) did more hurt to Chrysler by selling to the germans than any of Lee's cheapining methods did. And I'm sure there's alot of WWII G.I.s that are glad to hear that the germans no longer have the Jeep (It's a long story summarized like this: "I'd rather blow-up my Jeep than let the Nazis get their hands on it!" And they really wanted it!) Let's just hope we don't get a post-musclecar era repeat in preparedness & sales or another K-car. Ah, who knows... maybe they'll revive the turbine project and perfect it, building the first superflex-fuel, turbine-electric hybrid-powered production car. I hope so, 'cause we'll need it! Plus it's already the 21st century & I'm still waiting to see the first publicly-sold production turbine car. I feel the flying car can wait 'til things are safer.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

There goes another company in the ground buy the millionare who thinks of nothing but himself. Im sorry but Nickelin Dimer he is going to drive Crysler in the ground worse than you think. If he lasts more than 3 years I will be shocked. Just watch there stocks fall, Im suprized they didnt fall once he was anounced CEO. It is going to take Home Depot atleast 10yrs to get back to the glory days of Bernne and Aruthor, being an Depot empoyee for 5yrs I thing Tom Taylor should of takin over Depot instead of that @$$ clown cause our mrket is called the Nardeli market cause here you can get away with murder and still keep your job. Our market has a turn over of 38% before Nardeli Home Depot alone ony had a turn over rate of 15%, that is why our market as about 10 or 11 law sutes aginst Home Depot. His way of think is you gata spend a billion to make a million.

sounds about like my warehouse. i've been there 2 years. i've seen about 45-50 (yes i said 45-50) associates get hired and fired/quit. of those 45-50, i've seen about 9 assistant managers leave. its a crap hole place to work. but as of now, i've never been late on my bills and i've never not had food...but i'm always looking to get out.
