The end of an era: The SV has been sold
Sunday, July 01, 2007 12:31 PM
Yes, you read it correctly, I sold the SV today. A guy drove up from Texas and picked it up. I'm a little sad to see it go, but at the same time I'm really excited about picking up my new bike next Saturday! So, without further adieu, here are the final pictures I took:

This is my favorite pic of the bike, ever.

as for the new ride, I don't want to give it away just yet, but I will give you a sneak preview:

Oh, ooh, I know what it is! The frame gives it away. Nice choice! I see you got stung by the "you know what" bug. Post pictures when you get it. I plan on getting an SV and I will decide which direction to go after that.

I loved the SV, I would definitely buy another one, but it would probably be a 1000. I'm just ready for something new, and I can't justify having two bikes at once, especially since they're so similar in many aspects (I think that's another hint ).

Thanks Jeremy, here's a picture of what the bike looked like when I first bought it a little over a year ago:

A good friend of mine owned it before me, and I got a picture of it with my old bike (the 500 Ninja). You can compare that to the other pictures and see that I did do a lot of stuff, though if you don't know a whole lot about SV's, nothing that really jumps out at you.

The countdown is on - 5 days!
