Got bored...cleaned the truck...No 56K ...Sorry
Sunday, May 13, 2007 10:20 PM
Well took the truck out in the mud a couple weekends ago got it a little dirty, and it needed a good bath...so today in the nice weather I went at it.

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome!

Playing around in a parkade on a barrier, tuckin the rear a little

Nice and reflective!!

The negative of that pose

Then decided to play around a little bit and get some pics for another forum I'm on.

Wow. '03 ZR2 with only 19K...nice kill. If I could justify needing a 4x4, that's one I'd shoot for.

Yeah the super low mileage was the big selling point for me! and considering i got it for 4900$ under market value sealed the deal....poor old fella owned it before me and had it sitting in storage for a yeah and nine months before I bought it...they took his license away so he had no use for it.....I know I have a good use for it

Ahhhh...thus explaining the odd presence of the BFG Long Trails.

BFG A/T KOs or Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos need to replace those ASAP.

noooo, you have 31x10.5r15 on that bad boy. Time to get some REAL mud slingin' off-road tires. There are so many out there for your truck

Werd! I know I love mine....they make it look 10x more aggressive too. With the body lift you should have no problems fitting 32's. Just please fix the saggy rear...lol.

Hahahaha yeah I have a set of 2.25" Shackles sitting in boxes in the back right now just need to find the time and place to do it. My condo won't allow car maintenance in the parking lot....they dont even like me washing it there.

...as for the Long Trails...yeah they're stock...same tires that came on it I'm sure. BFG A/T KOs are in the works in a 32 X 11.5 but need to get the cash together, trying to pay it down before I get too deep into it, and still trying to fund the motor swap on the Cavfire and saving for a vacation too....I finally realised how to prioritise a little...can't rush out and do it all at once....but once its done....look out!

I don't think you'll fit 32x11.5's without a lot of trimming....even with a 2" BL.

i've been told now by a couple people that I'll need minor trimming, if i were to go 33's i'd need some serious trimming, even in your last post in here you said 32 no big deal....and as for the width I'm running spacers so its not a huge issue and I dont wheel it that hard....some mild trails and mudding......until its paid off at least

Spacers = death to ball joints.

When I said 32's should fit no problem...I meant 32 x 10.5's.

Blazers are more know for rubbing more so than the S-10 too. So that will be a factor.

Yeah I know about the spacers being death to balljoints an already all to weak point on our trucks...I'm not gonna run them up front for that reason. Just 1.25" on the rear to fix the so called "shy" look.

I haven't decided for sure what size tire and appreciate the recommendations for sure! I guess it'll come down to whats gonna fit with the least amount of hacking up my flares. I know I'm no where near needing new tires and can survive with the BFG Long Trails for now...as much as I hate them offroad they're great for the amount of city driving I do and have way too much life left in them to kick them aside. I just hate the lack of grip in wet weather...ass end slides everywhere on sharp turns, especially when that locker kicks in, not that I mind sometimes

Go with some M/T's right away. Most really aren't any worse on the pavement than BFG A/T's. I'll never go back.

Really? I just do a lot of highway driving and dont want a tire that wears overly fast or howls. I'd love to swap the AT's for MT's, just need to drive on em, and experience them a little i suppose! Thanks again though man! All input is appreciated

My M/T's are only slightly louder inside the cab than my BFG A/T's were. The wear on mine has been great too. Proper suspension alignment is key to tire wear.....especially on trucks.
I absolutely love my Kumho's. Best M/T for the money hands down IMO.
