I like how most crash tests ratings are pretty much Void above a certain speed ...

Yeah I think there hasnt been a safe vert yet. Its a gimmie.
At least I knew if my car flipped or anything I'd be screwed I had a 00 Z24 Vert.

The cars that are not designed to be verts from the get go tend to be less safe than cars that were designed that way from the ground up i.e. corvette.

I stopped reading there...why is it suprising that cars without roofs dont have side airbags??? Even if they were in the seats, odds are they would just blast out the windows and keep on going...

You must not have watched the video then. The M3 and Volvo both have side impact airbags, and they both work just fine.
