Well basically i have a 94 chevy beretta that needs some new lovin. She is tired of the old wrinkly slug in the engine bay now, and is looking for some smaller, skinnier, sexier power house. So I have been doing my research on the 2.2l swap, but not much for the 2.4. My plan is to eventually run this setup in my car.
1994 Chevy Beretta
95+ 2.2 or 2.4l
T3/T4 hybrid turbo
lowering kit
Z26 body kit
5 spd swap
I have already experimented with a 96 Chevy Cavalier 3 spd auto- 5spd swap, and have a good general knowledge on how to get a car running properly. That car got sold though to a friend of mine during a bind for cash, and still runs great 6 months after owning it. My plan for now is to go back to that familiar I-4 setup, except this time add some more ponies!!!
Thanks for hearing me out, any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
Why not put a 3400 in it?
Why not sell it, and put said mod money towards a good car?
Why in the world would take a decent v6 out of a car and put in a 4cylinder? It would require a custom computer to work with the gauges, among other things. I say drop in a 3400 and call it good...
3400 swap most def.

lol, 3.1 to a 2.2L? k
You might just want to sell the car and pick up a 95+ Jbody.
