Well it's been awhile since I've made a post but I felt this was the time to post an update on my tC.

Nice what kind of #'s do you plan on putting down? I'm not a big TC guy so......I honestly dont know what they are capable of putting down once you put a snail on ur exhaust.

That's a purdy radiator you got up front.

The Dezod kit looks nice. Did they coat/paint the piping for you, or did you have that done elsewhere?

Projected numbers, going off what Dezod says the kit adds about 67 hp. So somewhere in the ballpark of 227 hp @ 5psi (maybe a bit more with Ryans help, hehe) It runs really rich at WOT, pegging 10's so I'm gonna get Ryan to take a look at the emanage and see if we can lean it out a bit.

No Dezod said they won't do the powder coating anymore because of the hastle from some of their previous clients, so I took it to a local place and had him coat my intake and most of the charge pipes with a black metalic flake, pictures don't do it justice.

The person who dyno'd at 227 put those numbers to the wheels, so expect more than just 67hp since the 160 estimate from Scion is at the crank.

okay from a complete unitiate of the TC community, how much can those things actually hold up to? Engine AND trans? I know a lot about a lot of cars i don't own, but the TC is one of those I haven't investigated yet.

From the research I've done the stock auto tranny sucks, only hold up to around 250 before slipping. As for the engine itself...well not too sure on that, but i think anything under 10 psi on stock internals is ok as long as it's tuned.

wait, so yours is an auto? kudos to you good sir! Don't suppose anyone makes any kind of trans parts for that do they? Slippage might just be insufficient line pressure or could be solved by adjusting the bands a little tighter. Just using what little I know of auto trans mods from other vehicles. How much tougher is the manual trans?
