Vette Road Course (Vid)
Tuesday, April 03, 2007 9:36 AM
It was opening day at my Uncles track, and someone decided to video themselves around the track. Riding in a 2004 Z06 following a 2006 Z06. At three minutes my uncle passes the 2004 Z06 in his Pewter 1999 FRC Vette.

The guy who was filming must not do alot of track racing cause he is very "Power Shy" coming into and out of the turns. Then I see you uncle pass and you can just see the difference. He hits his lines so much harder and powers out of them sooner. He knows what his car can do and has a better feel for it... I So want to get to a road course this year too. Good vid man...

It's Autobahn Country Club. The guy in the yellow Z06 is not the greatest driver, or so my uncle says. My uncle just got back from Bondurants driving school and he said he learned a lot. He also just put a full cage and racing slicks on this year, therefor his time dropped by 5 seconds. He is now smashing heavily modded Porsche's, Ferrari's, and BMW's. I am taking a class at his track that will allow me to drive around the track this year. Not sure if he will let me drive his Vette, but the Cav is enough for me.
