So I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. I know, that's problem #1. But it was affordable, and I needed a car at the time.
Anyway, here's the problem I'm having with it. It has power locks, with remote keyless entry. Long story short, my wife has lost BOTH key fobs for the remote keyless. Not too big a deal, I don't mind using the key for the door. However, lately, the lock on the driver's side front door will not always lock. It's completely random. The key in the door will unlock the locks, but not lock them. The lock on the inside of the door won't move, either. However, I have been able to use the lock (both inside and outside).
Like I said, it's random when it will or will not lock. Any suggestions on what might be wrong, and/or how to fix it. So far no one on any Hyundai forums has been helpful, and the dealership wants $45 just to look at it.

Spineless. I miss some of my old friends, the ones who you could count on,
bet a huge amount on, the fact that they'd always have your back... Its like a kick in
the sack, just knowing, you've got nothing to fall back on. @!#$ this, Im done.
