Woot Pocono.

I plan on building my goat for some street course use. I don't think I will go to that extreme tho.

meh, I read about that in one of the magazines a few months back. I like the execution, but why not start with a car that's not a big fat ass boat? this is the same as taking a Crown Vic and trying to make it handle. I just don't understand, there are so many small cars - Novas, Darts, Falcons.

I guess I just don't get it

Well the 1964 GTO was a compact car for it's time and it's kinda-sorta midsize for today's cars. In fact, it's about the same size as a 1969 Camaro or a Nova. Maybe an inch wider and taller, and a 5 inches longuer overall, but that's about it. I don't blame you for thinking otherwise though, a lot of old cars look a lot bigger than they were. The GTO is one of them. Until you stand next to one you always assume it's a lot bigger.

Yea I bet it weighs less than my GTO by at least 200lbs stock.

The reason he used that was becuase it was his project with his dad.

And as for why not use something smaller, think about trying to pass that thing. It's like those road racing Vipers. Their so damn wide its tough to get around them, sounds like a solid strategy to me.

Lol vipers at ALMS can't use that strategy because they are always in the back of the pack. lol

No, but those Vipers in Speed World Challenge can work that. I remember them talking to some of the Porsche drivers, they hate the Vipers. I mean, there's a huge size difference when you look at them
