Need help identifying car from broken tail light picture
Wednesday, March 14, 2007 11:32 AM
At school today a buddy of mine had his truck backed into and the other vehilce drove off.

He has a huge 2500 series ram so I am thinking it was a truck that backed up into him.

Can anyone identify the type of vehicle? I am having a hard time.

Looks like a newer Ford F150 Flareside to me... (something similar to a Lightning)

Tomorrow look for a truck with a missing chunk of taillight. You know they won't get it fixed overnight.

That is a straight on angle.

The piece is completely flat with no curves what so ever.

But for it to wrap around the trunk to the rear fender, it would have to be somewhat curved.

I don't know.

those are my 3 guess's how high up was the truck hit? that might help, if its the bottom of the bumper probably a car, really high up your looking for an SUV or pick up.

Although this idea is good, it is quite difficult to search a parking lot that easily holds over 2000 cars

I agree, and if broken in a small peice, that would explain the flatness of the lens

So then what are you going to do once the piece is identified?

Well...if I know the type of vehicle that will narrow my search results down quite a bit.

Process of elimination you know.
