What plans do you guys have for the rides this season?
Myself, I am selling my Heads, installing a cam, and spending Benjaminos on rear suspension.
Main goal is getting the 60ft down and investing in a rear.
XJ - install my cryo treated 300mm brakes. replace sways, add rear disc package. save for 2008
WJ - install katzkin leather package/ heated seats. track down pre03 foglight kit.

i want to get wheels and tires, a cold air intake that fits, iridium plugs, 10mm wires, new speakers all around, finish the interior lights and hopefully some corbeau racing seats (assuming i can find them at decent prices or if someone has them used...

Plans...
Well my immediate plans for the Mustang includes getting 5% tint all around when the weather warms up...maybe in 2 - 3 months.
I also plan to get a X-CAL SCT II Tuner (since so many mods revolve around having a tuner for accurate performance) and a CAI, just not sure which CAI for the Mustang yet. Depending on how money is, I'd like to finish with a dual exhaust set up (leaning towards JBA true duals) before the end of the summer. I might be able to get the CAI and Tuner in a couple of weeks since my tax money should be in the mail any minute now and I just found out recently I will be getting a bonus from my job for my 4th quarter performance of 2006. The tax money and bonus should take care of the price for a Tuner/CAI combo...which would leave me to save up until the end of the summer to get my exhaust set up.
Later in the future I would probably go with 3.73 gears from FRPP, T-Lock and look into suspension, as the Mustang is in a bad need of a drop...probably 1" to 1.25" all around, sway bars...just a better set up overall.
buying a 350z cause i want a different daily driver, the audi is 5 years old and is getting boring.
and im in the process of finding another 1g awd dsms, i want to find one in amazing condition, my blue one looks really good but theres a couple small things that are bothering me so i want to get a new one, and ill just make my blue one a drag car. also going to toy around with different nitrous/boost set ups to see what i can get out of it, then put in the 2.1 destroker motor i have sitting in my garage when that one goes haha. dont think ill have enough time to play with the colt this summer.
Finish my fiberglass door panel pods
Redo my left door sill tweeter pod and maybe the right one. I need to move the soundstage left and up a bit.
Swap in the HO intake/exhaust manifolds
Hopefully piece together a modest exhaust setup
Repair, paint and install my front bumper, hopefully find a rear one to match, but not needed(custom blitz)
Make a fiberglass sub enclosure for the LEFT side of my car, already have a right. Then fill them with both eD 11kv.2 subs.
And then minor things, I want to do a big clean of the entire car, engine, interior, et al. I want to tune my stereo a bit more, probably getting a 12-band EQ for that. Get stuff painted, washed, and replaced. All the goodies like that.
It'll be a busy summer.
Starting a new motor build here in a few, then it's getting a full T4 put on.
Big turbo build up.
I currently have a T3super60 sitting here and the tubular boost factory manifold is on the way. Scat rods, and a few other goodies. I'm shooting for 300whp by year end, so we'll see how that goes.
Go JDM if feasible. I have my sights set on Skyline, Silvia and even JDM Hondas. Time to move up, I've had 9 Cavaliers last time I counted.. a lesson I should of learned with the first, haha. In all seriousness the 3rd Gen is my daily and guinea pig for random mod ideas. I need a real project car to keep me busy.

Is that a handheld tuner?
Why a handheld over a dedicated computer program?
No I wish, Pedder's Track II

Yeah it's a handheld tuner/flasher. I talked to a lot of guys on different Mustang forums about this and the consensus has been to get some type of handheld tuner whether it's a Predator, X-Cal or other. I don't think I've read about someone mentioning a dedicated computer program nor have I seen it on any websites that I visited but if it's more beneficial than a handheld tuner, I'd definately look into that instead.
It is more beneficial but its also usually more exspensive.

good luck with that... i need a new suspension for my J but i dont see that happening anytime soon... i wanna do it front half first because the rear is more or less fine, its just the front shocks are a little worn
Yeah, my whole suspension will pretty much be getting redone.
All the bushings, the shocks, sway bars and everything else. I plan on swinging the money for a better steering rack if one becomes available.
