thats on a cheap F-body, not a real high end Porsche, there is no way it actually helped the porsche

It has to do with the geometry of the rear suspension
I have nothing against the bagged look but i think it's a waste on a sports car. As Rabbit mentioned it can improve handling, but on a car like that I doubt it will help and I suspect will make the handling worse. As for the wheels I have similar feelings nothing wrong with nice wheels but again on a car like this adding unsprung weight is not a good thing, thats not to say those wheels are necessarily heavier but I would suspect they are. Of course thats just my opinion it's his money, I just know if it was mine I would have made the car faster.
