Exactly why too much power is bad with a new driver. He had no throttle control. Given I know it would be a lot harder being he probably had a lot of power, but still.

he has all the gauges under the sun in there and it still doesn't make him a better driver if i was driving that bad i would have given up. everytime he crashed he'd over compentsate and mash the gas like and idiot too. that poor mustang...

he needs to learn throttle control and to make smooth transitions...

some of the in car you can see him jerk the wheel back and forth...

1. Hit the Apex... THEN the gas, not the other way around.
2. Reread number 1, a thousand times.
3. The throttle, contrary to popular belief, is not a on off switch. Unless you're Schumacher, and he ain't.
4. Driving a Mustang on a 4' wide track is not, I repeat, NOT a smart move.
5. Breaks are not an on off switch either.
6. When you loose it... going full on throttle is NOT going to make you recover.
7. Go home, ya done son.

Car sounded pretty healthy though...lol. He just is teh suck at driving. That thing is waaaay too much car from him on the twisties. Just because the power/speed is there does not mean you have to use it.

Your ignorant.

Anyways, he needs to learn throttle control, and not to be balls to the wall the whole time. He comes out of the corner and mashes it to the floor, that's why he loses it so much.. and he doesn't know how to work the brakes. Give him time and he will be good though, he does have some skill.. he just needs practice, not everyone is good at first. I would like to see you guys calling him a crappy driver handle such a light car with that high of power all going to the rear wheels, it's not easy. Especially when you also have to focus on shifting gears.

I be willing to bet thats a mid-low 11 second car. It's not like auto-xing a 15 or 14 second j-body....or even a 13 or 12 second car for that matter.

Exactly, auto-xing would be alot easier with a car that didn't have so much power.

He probably needs some wider rear tires with more sidewall for some traction, and some serious lessons in when to nail the throttle, and how much to give it. That car is a serious car, he just needs to calm down. Maybe he was a 1/4 mile guy wanting to do something new, so he took his 1/4 mile car and turned it to an auto-x car.

my thoughts exactly... i bet that car is fast as hell on a real race track. i never understood why ppl would do auto X in a frickn parking lot with cones, IMO-its retarded.

that guy was obviously a straight line driver. he needs to stick to that and leave the circles to the rednecks.

I'm pretty sure he is a redneck?

He's fine with circles, he can have them. Just leave the twisties to us Italians

I know you're not calling him a redneck because he's driving a Fox bodied Stang. That must make me a mullet having, redneck trailerpark white trash for driving a Camaro, right?
