My g/f bought an 05 Focus ZX4 and she hates it. She bought it brand new (at the time) and that thing has gone though brakes, suspension issues, broken strut, small leaks here and there, also more things I can't remember. Whoever said the Focus is "made better then the Cavalier" needs to be shot. I remember reading that in a review, and everyone I know who has a Focus or who has driven one consider them to be horrible.
In a funny note, at the Ford dealership across the street from my work. They have a new Focus, but it has a "street appearence package" on it which consists of a bodykit, rims, interior accents like a chrome gauge bezel/shifter, etc, and a spoiler which looks damn near EXACT to the Cobalt SS S/C's. Only difference is that it isn't as high. It doesn't look horrible, just not something I'd buy.
