GM's 3.6L V6 VVT (LY7) and is part of the what GM calls: "High Feature Engine." This engine first saw use in the Caddy CTS and STS in 2005 and the trickled down to Buick LaCrosse, Pontiac G6, Saturn Aura and soon the 2008 Chevy Malibu. Depending on model, power rating is between 240-255HP & 225-252TQ
GM also uses the 3.6L V6 VVT (LY7) on the Cadillac SRX, GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook Buick Enclave. Depending on model and exhaust it produces between 255-275HP & 248-254TQ.

Uplander? How does it even remotely look like a minivan?
Not to mention, if a bumper like that was available for your econobox (though it wouldn't be as tall obviously) people would be falling over each other to try to get it. Yet this car (or SUV, whatever) looks ugly?
As for me, I am seriously thinking about buying this when it comes out. It'll depend on the price. It is probably one of the best looking mini-SUVs I have seen to date.

im not really diggin' it from the front (that bumper looks to big to me.), but from the side its a good looker.
