1986 Chevy celebrity radio

Does anyone know where i can get a diagram of how to take out the factory radio or take the dash apart?
I took out parts from under the dash but I didn't see any screws to take out the piece i needed off. There is a long piece of metal that goes across the dash that surrounds the radio, and goes over the steering wheel and around the vents that i need off to get to the radio.

my mom had an 86 celbrity wagon and that car lasted FOREVER. I belive it had 370K by the time it finally quit.

no idea on the radio though, sorry.

My other car is an interceptor.

Ur best bet is either buy a chiltons book or haynes manual. I myself have both for my car and also have a online manual for my old cav.Try Http://www.chiltonsonline.com they do sell online versions for everything and it cost about 20 bux I think and it literally breaks down everything for the most part using adobe reader. Not sure if it will do radio stuff to that degree but, heck its great and u can print off the diagrams of what ur looking at and has helped me tremendously.

Ron Love i look through one of those manuals and they didn't have the dash from the 86 celebrity. They had the dash from an older one so it did not help at all. But i did not pay 20 to look at it online so i am not sure about that.

Thanks thoughthardtocomeupwiththis,

Good luck. Removing the dash is a PITA according to a guy that I work with who recently removed one.
