Hey guys, I finally got around to taking some new pics of my tacoma. its a 2002 prerunner that i bought back in august.
here they are...

what i've done so far...
playing in the snow...
i guess thats it. after 4 months, i've done a few things. I've got the billet grille and the tonneau cover. i also added a fram boost air intake system. the cavalier stereo made its way in. waiting on the tax return is a new set of rims. coming sometime after christmas will be tinted windows and an alarm. that'll probably be it. i'm thinking of adding some foglights...just haven't decided on a set yet.

My skidplates come with a door to get at the relocated oil filter....nice and easy right in the front
oil is kind of a pain. they leave a hole in the skid plate to you can get to the plug, but you have to take the skid plate off to get to the filter. even with it off, its a bitch to change. i used to make fun of people who needed pliers or something to get the filter off, but with this truck, there's just not enough room to get a good grip...so i'm one of those people now.

Mall crawler at it's finest lol... you don't want to do that to a 2WD truck. I love Tacomas though, and yours is nice. I just don't see how a 2WD truck can have an off road package. I have an '88 and would love to upgrade, but I don't want 2 car payments.

i think the offroad package for the 2wd is the locking rear differential and the skid plate. i also think the offroad package had the 16" rims instead of the 15"...not sure though.

well the truck is finally done.
I ended up with a set of Eagle Alloys series 058. tires are remington wide brute offroad tires. truck looks really nice IMO. exhaust is a 2.5" pipe going into a magnaflow 11225 muffler. sounds pretty good.
also i've had the windows tinted and taken off the TRD stickers since the previously tinted pictures.
here's the last pics of the tacoma. probably won't do anything else to her besides shave off the rest of the badges.

i want a supercharger real bad. but wife wants to start saving for when we have a baby and i kind of do too. if i get another fatty tax return check again next year, i'll maybe look in to it. we'll have to see how its looking.

I miss my ol' tacoma...btw if you ever get your hands on the supercharger you don't have to change out the ecu. It automatically adjust for the extra boost, so TRD says... did i mention that i miss my taco?
