I know some one at work that has one and he told me loves everything about it. Handles great, lots of power, and the styling is very unique.

I like the G35 coupes better too....even more than the 350's because they at least have a back seat.

the sedan and the coupe both look nice but I love the looks of the coupe better. But if you need 4 doors the sedan is a good alternative.

Ive been priveleged enough to drive both the sedans and coupes quite a few times. IMO I like the coupe the best, but ill give my opinion on the sedan since thats what your into.

Handling is very good for a sedan of that size. The AWD ones do pretty good in the rain and in an empty parking lot you can get som drift action going if its wet out. Acceratation is awesome, but i hated the slap shift of what every you wanna call it tranny. Seems very slow to react to when you shift, especially down shifting. Any time i drove an auto, i left in in the fully automatic mode. If it was my choice, id get the 6 speed. Very smooth and precise shifting. All in all just a really nice car. Especially since the prices are going down pretty good now on the sedans if your looking into a used one.

^^^ Smaller, harder on insurance and gas. Better looking is debatable, power potential is up to your wallet.

I was looking at the G35 sedan because it's a lot easier to live with (I carpool with my GF and one of my coworkers) than a coupe would.

Paul: colour is only paint deep. I don't think white has ever been available with a black/charcoal interior. Either way, I'd go with the Sedan, but not the AWD unless you're going to be driving in the deep stuff a lot in the winter. I personally wouldn't choose a G35X without really thinking about it hard, there isn't a lot of boost options for it (I think the Stillen charger is an option, but you have to either cut or replace the hood with a ram air hood, and that's not something I will do to the lines of the car.

It's capable, but the AWD system negates a lot of tuning possibilities because it seems the engine bay is pretty tight.

thanks for the comments guys except for the coupe vs sedan , i dont want a coupe dont need a coupe ect ect thats why i asked about the sedan specifically anyway gam im not buyin the car for boost or any modding reasons, i want awd due to the winters here, it would be a daily driver/only driver and it would need to be able to get me every where i need to get in all weather situations....im mad though on one part of the website they show the white with black interior available then when u go to build, its not available...oh well the liquid platinum is nice also.... and for those sayin the sedan is ugly...thanks for the opinion, i will just like to say this...

i love it, its a great economy car but finances will be soon changing allowing me a real car

I didn't know you were buying it for daily driving porpoises. The AWD is a nice thing, but I think it lowers fuel economy.. you'd have to check the product info on that though.

Re: Thoughts on G35

I will give you my honest non-biast opinion on this...

My best friend at College drives an 03 G35 coupe (auto) shown above. I am a 6'3" guy and my head hits the roof in the back seat. Now i am taller than your average guy so i think if I were an inch shorter there wouldn't be an issue. The seats are power slide which when you access the back seat you just pull the lever and seat moves on its own. Its a nice option but your stuck there waiting for like 10 seconds waiting for the seat to come all the way forwards. Besides the hight issue the back seats are very comfortable and plenty of leg room suprisingly. Now since I was never able to let me get a chance to drive his car, we went to an Infinty dealership so i could try one out. They had 4 on the lot but only one manual in black loaded. I too myself wanted a white on black combo which they didn't have any. However for test purpose i got to take out the black one. All of them G35's have a DSG button (traction control button) which they really do need. It was raining the day i took this one out. The sales rep was showing all the gadgets it had with the GPS system. It did have heated leather seats like my buddy's, but even in the new car they seemed to take forever to heat up unlike my dad's Audi a4 or the BMW's we were testing as well. Its something i could live with but just seemed odd. Also the windows didn't want to unfog quickly which when driving a 41K car i really didn't want to wreck it. Power wise, the get up and go defintely was there without question. I know its the same engine in the sedan however less power due to the drive train. The one i tested was 293 hp but the 6 speed transmisson seemed to be extremly rough. The salesman told me to give it a good acceleration run, while doing so going into the next gear is just didn't seem smooth, like there was soo much power it didn't want to go in as quick as you can with a short throw. Then at a dead stop he wanted to show me how the DSG worked. It was a wet road and told me to goose-it so i did just that and i got the tires to break loose no problem but the car caught me and cut the power. A little further up the road was a circle turn around. I'm not sure about the sedan but the 07 coupes have whats called " rear active steering" which is essence is power steering in the rear. He had me turn the DSG off cock the wheel all the way to the left and goose it again. This time the car didn't catch me and the ass end of the car whipped around extremly quickly. This was also on a wet surface so that probably aided in the quickness. Obviously this wasn't anything like my cavalier or PT crusier by anymeans and simply blew me away. However If i was in your shoes I would go try and see if you can find a year end 06 model BMW 325XI as this is the last year they are making them and i honestly felt that car was more of a luxory car. I felt more comfortable driving and riding in and a couple thousand less than a new G35. The G35 was more of a sportcar to me than anything which since i only tested the coupe i can't tell a whole lot about the AWD sedan. ALso BMW has a service plan where EVERYTHING maintence wise is covered for the first 3 years i think it is including oil changes, brakes, etc.... i did like the peice of mind that was giving me.

Nothing wrong with which ever way you decided to go, Infiniti's are very nice cars.

I am hoping to get the G35 sedan or a similar Infinity sedan as my next car...

In my opinion, they are the sexiest cars on the road right now.

How is the reliability?

I work for infiniti and all I can say is the 07 sedan is SICK!!!! Its so much more of a car then the older models. I see you said something about the rear wheel steering. Sad to say but the AWD doesnt come with rear wheels steering only the sport models do. As for power upgrades, they did alot of little things. The exhaust cam timing is now adjusted, they upgraded the coolant passages in the heads and the list goes on and on. AWESOME car. I just got back from the new model training for the car yesterday
