Well since I'm just getting back into J-bodies since I
FINALLY got a stick shift Cavy, I figured Id show ya guys what I have been playin with in the meantime.
Heres my 350 trifecta, 1991 Firebird Formula w/L98 350, 1993 Silverado ECSB 2wd w/LO5 350, and my babay, my 1988 IROC-Z w/L98 350. More details on each are in my profile. The front sheetmetal on the truck is in primer right now as its getting resprayed soon.
The Twins:
Here is my other work in progress and the last of my non-running cars. 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi. 2.6L four cylinder SOHC turbo and intercooled from the factory. Super 16G turbo. 5 speed manual RWD, 4 wheel disc, 4 wheel independent suspension. I got it with a blown motor. I'm going to start the rebuild soon with a new head, 8:1 pistons, cam and a multiport standalone FI system (factory FI is a two injector TBI system). The only pics I have of it are of it sitting in my shop all dusty so please excuse the mess.
So there ya go. My fleet
I cant keep anything stock....
The back end of that conquest look like a Supra! Cool cars...you must like black!

Get the bra off the Camaro.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Hmm, I'm real partial to one of your cars. Can you guess which one?
Im partial to another one.....
Nice Quest.....I just sold mine...

i keep it gully like im havin a old friend for lunch
Your Conquest TSi is in remarkable shape. You just don't see them on the road anymore along with its stablemate the Mitsubishi Starion. The IROC Z with the 350 was a really cool car back in the late 1980's. Outside of the Corvette and the Buick Regal GN's, nothing drew more attention to itself when it pulled into the parking lot.

Is it a factory 350 car? I noticed it had t tops....
I had the same car only it was a t/a and it was an lb9 5 spd. I miss that car like crazy
The Formula was originally a 305 TPI car. I got it with the motor locked up. I swaped in the L98 350 from a 92 GTA. It does have the glass t-tops. The bra is on the IROC cause the air dam got boogered up and I'm waiting on the new one. The IROC is a real L98 350 car. I'm really excited about the Conquest, that car is way ahead of its time and it should be a great ride once its done. I think the rear end looks like a fox body stang but people do confuse it for a Supra, Celica, Daytona and a few other cars. Nobody realizes its RWD. Thanks for the comments everyone. And yeah, I do have a little thing for black cars
Hopefully I'll have some pics of my 97 Cav up soon.
I cant keep anything stock....
I really like the formula, always liked that look.
I want my friends stable though...
How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
Nice cars....but i really like that Conquest. My father bought one brand new in 87 and can honestly say its one of the few cars hes ever regretted selling. Ive looked at about a dozen for a new project car now that i got rid of my SE-R, but every one ive looked at so far has been beat beyond what i wanna start with lol. I just think they were a car that was a little bit ahead of their time. Oneday ill find a semi decent one...or break down and rebuild a total POS.
