Isn't ford trying to get rid of Jaguar? And, if I'm not mistaken, isn't a german company looking into buying it off them?
I personally think it's a smart move for him. Boeing is alot more promising compared to the auto industry.

Jag and Aston Martin are both being considered for the chopping block. Personally, I think a better move would be to sell Jaguar and Land Rover; Aston is making money.
