Ok the car has 62,000 miles on it and yesterday the transmission started to slip and was unable to drive. Fluids were gushing from the back of the motor near the firewall, engine was overheating quick, needle was pegged at hot. engine was making funny noises. the fluids that were running out looked and felt like antifreeze and transmission fluid combined. So when the car cooled down i took the radiator cap off and there was something definatley mixed with the coolant. It looked like when water mixes with oil it has that separation look if you ever seen when water and oil are mixed together, and was very slippery when rubbed together with too fingers. So what i am asking did anyone ever have this problem, Is the engine and transmission gone. Or is it just the tranny, and they can just flush the engine out.
That can be rebuilt, but it may be cheaper to track down an engine at a junkyard and just yank that out.

Tranny cooler in the radiator is leaking.
New radiator, transmission, maybe engine/ head/ head gasket depending the level of overheating.
Sounds like the headgasket. If it is, just may be better to find a better car, lol. Repairs for that at shops usually range $1K+.
I gotta say trans cooler inside the rad!

isn't that kinda sad for a car that has only 60,000 miles on it. I bet the Warranty won't cover it>
