Street tires don't work well.....

Because traction is slightly limited.

The tires were 'donated' by a friend. Nitto 555r streets with good tread.

Only the gas pedal was used in first. Clutch was fully engaged.

Honestly, while it is fun this way, it isn't safe. I could feel that they wanted to break loose if I was in 3rd gear around 4500 and I punched it. That is moving around 60 MPH. It would bark them HARD into 4th gear at 85 MPH too. And that wasn't taking it to redline in 3rd.

I have cut a 1.868 on the Nitto DR's. I have a set of M/T DR's here (275/50/15's) to run the next time I am out.

The footage was taken running 275/40/17 Nitto 555r street tires. Not the DR's.

I run the 315/35/17 Nitto DR's on the street. They actually hold the street pretty well, just aren't the best at the track.

Density altitude was 8500.

thats it ^^^ WTF is up with that... how does the altitude change it??

Basicly works the same as any track.
The Density Altitude goes up as conditions get worse.
The hotter it is, the higher the density altitude.

The only problem I have....mine starts at 5800 feet. That is Bandimere's actual altitude.
I used a DA calculator I found on F-Body.com and corrected that 12.3 is roughly a 10.8.

You don't need awd, just some slicks.

a 10.8 is a little better i knew that the altitude made it worse but wasn't sure how much.. but yeah get some stickys and if you havent already a really REALLY strong rear end
