1976 Pontiac Gran Prix SJ

engine: 400 with turbos

either 72k or 172k miles, interior condition is close to immaculate so i lean towards 72k

paint is pretty good, definitely original paint. big fixable scratch on the pass. rearview mirror

rims are IMMACULATE, SHINY AS HELL 16" i think.. tires have much tread.

what should i expect to pay for this?

Does it have t tops?

They're nice cars. I wouldn't expect to pay more than 4-5 grand for a mint one IMO. I've also heard of cars like this for under a grand, so the price is anybodys guess...

there's a MASSIVE difference between 72 and 172...

its a 5 digit odometer.

and i spoke to benny,

not original paint, he is the original owner, 172,000 miles. regular maintenance, good condition, small accident recently, professionally repaired he says.

he wants 4500 for it.

i'm thinking its a bad investment though. anybody care to try to persuade me otherwise, i'm listening.]

KBB doesn't go back that far, but on NADA it is showing:

Low Retail=$2520
Average=$4980
High=$8250

This is just adding 400 V8 Engine as the only option.

i'm completely sure the word "turbo" was written on there

i think it was turbo-something though...

moot point as i have $0 in my account and can't really justify the purchase if i were to eventually raise the funds..
