There used to be a jillion of these 20 years ago and now sighting one on the road is like a Bigfoot sighting. My mom had a green 1974 Mustang II with a green interior. I sort of liked it as a kid because it was similar to the Mustang King Cobra on Charlie's Angels. I don't recall seeing that many Mustang King Cobra's with the rediculous hood decal around town. I did see alot of Mustang II "Ghia's" though. Anyways, last week there is some guy commuting into the office park with a Mustang II notchback. It was in fair condition, no visible rust. Not exactly sure who carries parts for those anymore. Sort of rare car to see these days.

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

I bought a brand new 1976 Mustang II Cobra II. Back in 1976 they were good looking cars. Even with the 302 the performance was not very good. Keep in mind that it was the the middle of the first gas crunch. There wasn't much performance comming from Detroit or anywhere else. The only problem was the car was a piece of crap. To this day it was the worst car I ever owned, and I have never bought another Ford.

there's one for sale around town, it's definitely funky.
the only good thing that ever came from the Mustang II was a rack & pinion front suspension that can be swapped into 64.5-73 Stangs
I seen a king cobra with t tops at a car show a few weeks ago...
Hard to imagine that the mustang II was car of the year in 1974

Not even a v8 offered
