The first set of injectors I experimented with (for my turbo setup) were 19lb Grand Prix injectors off a '96 GT. Car ran great, but they just couldn't keep up with the boost. Buh-bye
I threw in a set of GTP injectors tonite off a '00 and the car absolutely ran like crap. I'm thinking these might be low impedance, but was wondering if anyone could verify.
Thanks in advance for the help, guys!
i dont know off the top of my head. and clubgp's search is being retarded (supid thing almost never works). you could go over there and search around for yourself
clubgp
low does sound familliar, though.

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

They are high impedance injectors, stock on a GTP is 33lbs/hr.

Just out of curiosity, would the 1998/99 motor be the same impedance?
actually they are 36lb
im not sure when the gtp's went from high to low , best is to measure them
also if going from 19 to 36lb , is gonna require fuel pressure changes , and alot of tuning to get right
on the gen II gtp fuel injectors are 36lbs and they are also high impedance

yes. actually, '97-'03's are for sure the same. im not sure about the series I's or series III's.
GTP stock injectors are GM 33#'s.
and yeah, to go from a 19 to 33/36... anything, you're probably gonna need some type of fuel pressur changes in order to take full advantage. it's like getting a bigger nozzle for your hose and expecting more water to come out. you've got to increase the ammount of water, not just the size of the nozzle.
