WOW

Glad to hear your doing alright and you are alive. That is the most important thing!!!!

So since the cops showed up, did they say whos fault it was? How far were you going? Did you even have time to hit the brakes? From the damage on your car, it looks like it will be a total loss... what insurance company do you have? Maybe you can buy the car back and sell it on your own or try and find it?

Either way, sorry to hear it happened to you.

Yeah I may buy it back for cheap, I already got another 06' Cobalt SS/SC Red With Recaros also. So Im a little happier now. But anyhow, if I do buy it back I'll be selling all of the parts, and I might just pay off the new cobalt with this one hehe. There was plenty of witness's to tell it was not my fault so It was already no question for me really. It was an elderly lady, so I didnt wanna yell or scream at her or anything thats just childish. But I do miss my old car still And I was only going 42...

Karo - Law enforcement does not assign fault in accidents, all we do is present the facts to the insurance companies and let their high paid lawyers duke it out...

Twister - Is that Springfield? I thought all that background looked familiar.

Actually they will ticket the person in fault. My wife just had a chick in a Grand Am side-swip her a few months ago when we had our Rodeo and they ticketed the girl for improper lane change.

If I wrecked a new car like that i'd rather total it. Its never the same no matter how good the repair is. Just me though others might feel differently.

"They" cited her because she because she committed a traffic violation... Will the insurance companies use this tidbit of information to determine fault? You betcha!

Since always? At least that's the standard here in Missouri.

Twister you a customer of Big Lots too? Should posted sooner, one of the managers in the car side owes me a couple of favors (and I was his first sale when he was a salesman there...$40k truck).
