My Malibu is starting to become very unreliable so today I will be picking up a 2002 Jetta GLS 1.8t. Silver w/ grey interior, no leather or sport wheel/handling package but thats ok because I'm getting a steal on it. Pictures are to come later today when I go to pick it up.
Slight upgrade. How much constitutes "a steal"?

First job: chip it. Crank out another 20-40hp out of the car for $400, it's amazing.
Second job: drop it, they ride too high stock.
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
4,000$ under blue book for a great condition car
I got it, no pictures tonight because it's dark and raining. Hopefully I'll get some taken tomorrow
It's all dirty due to driving it home in the rain yesterday plus rain all night, but you get the idea. The car has a small nick in the grill and a scuff on the passenger side rear fender flare where it looks like someone got a bit too close to a parking garage wall or something. But I mean for 4,000$ off blue book a few cosmetic problems are not an issue. Mechanically the car runs great, handles great no complaints at all. It needs a good detailing which I'll do when it stops raining.
so you paid around 8 for it? not bad
how many miles
Veeeeery nice!
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Nice, go with Revo for the chip, mmm so good.
I'll probably be going with the GIAC chip and a custom 3" turbo back exhaust as my first two mods. That should keep me happy for a while power wise, then I'm going to go to work on the drop, lips, and wheels. I'll put more pictures up here in a day or two when I get a chance to give it the cleaning it needs.
dont tint the headlights
just the tails
and id get rims first
what you got on their is fugly
Rims will be first when I start appearance mods, but right now chipping it and the 3" exhaust is much more important.
