Today was my day off and i had some things i had to do. So when i went to my parents to drop off my laundry, i decided to drive the mustang to the bank (which is about 20+ minutes away since i moved). My dad and i got it back running again this sunday (ignition switch was bad) and i felt like taking it out. So i cruise along to the bank, get the usual couple looks, deposit most of my check, and decide to take the highway home. Im on the highway doin like 65-70, and this white mercedes comes up on the left, i think it was a CLS or somethin or other. And the passenger was this lady and she is just starin at me and the mustang the whole time going buy with like this child like grin on her face. It was priceless. So im sittin there in my almost 40 year old car, where the steering is so loose it doesnt do anything between 10-2, the brakes are spongy yet effective, and the whole thing rattles like crazy, and this lady in a ~$70k mercedes just stares at my car. Made me feel like a million bucks. It was the best reaction i ever got driving it. Just thought id share.
was she cute?
LMAO
that is a good feeling, when people stare at your car (in a good way of course).

A classic is a classic. That Mercedes is only a status symbol, not many people are going to rebuild it in 20 years.

Haha, thats hysterical. But yeah, a classic is a classic and not alot of people are going to rebuild Mercs like they are/do mustangs.
I wrote this post a long time ago, a real long time ago, back in 94.

ive post pics before but ill post a couple old ones (aka last year, it still looks the same)
there are a few things we need to work on
the headliner is kinda crappy cuz we had no clue how to put it in right so its all ghetto
the steering box needs replacing (its looser than a friggin whale vagina)
and we cant tune the engine right to save our lives, not sure what the deal is so we gotta find a place that can do it (im thinkin that the timing is off or something, i dunno)
*looks at pics*
*orgasm*
...Yup, that pretty much sums up my reaction.
Very nice, looks to be in really good shape too for as old as it is too.
