I had a customer come in, bought new plugs and wires for his SRT-4. he said he had a problem with "spark blow out". I have in the past had a person with the regular version of the Neon, it was having multiple misfire codes even after the plugs, wires and coils were replaced. ( they were both relatively new cars both 2005 i believe )

what is spark blowout?

could this be related to what was happening with the other car?

Too much compression blowing out the spark from the plug. Most likely from running higher boost.

New plugs may fix it, might need a stronger spark delivered to the plug.

sounds like he was running higher boost and wasn't getting enough spark, or was using the wrong type of plugs to begin with, hope they where 2 step colder plugs.......and not platinum 4's lol

headgasket or maybe the wrong spark plug?
