Yea, I agree one looks silver the other looks to be white. Whats up with that?
I think its a filter on the pic from his sig that makes it look like that. Looks at the rims and whatnot...
His registry even says 'silver'. Did you just buy a different jeep or what?
The white one has a different front bumper..and dosent have side steps like the white one.

i admit that "after" jeep looks 100% white...but i assure it's the angle and lighting that makes it look that way. it's his silver jeep. just click on his webpage link in his profile and there are pics of him doing the lift. looks good bro. yeah those gears can be a PITA. I actually held off doing my 6inch lift with the 33's till i could find a place that had lower "Zuki" gears in stock. Only 2 companies make them and they only make a small batch once a year. But they are worth it...when the $$$ becomes available do your self the favor and get them and go bigger.

The Jeep is silver, like Jooky said the angle of picture made it look like a different color and with the wheels being black, it kind of offset the color. I take certain angles of my blue jeep and it looks black in some pictures.
The front bumper is the same, just the bumperettes on the outside were removed to give it a more aggressive look.

they have been treating me well. they're loud, but soothing. the ride isn't that bad, i can bearly feel it. the wear isn't that bad, but i can tell i am going to need new tires in about another yr and a couple of months. it would probably with wear if i had a full size spare to rotate with them but that's going to have to wait.
the jeep is SILVER. the angle of the pic and the glare of the sun makes it look white at times.
Nice jeep and nice lift

Very nice man, you wont stop now though!
When you need new tires upgrade to some 32x11.5s and add in a 1" body lift. Runs prefect and it is just fine with 3.07s. But anyways looks great, can't wait to see it get bigger!
And now I have another inch on top of the last one. Entire suspension under $500!
32"s would suck for me man. As my trip to flordia last week proved to me.With 31's it really sucks on steep hills. I couldn't imagine how bad it would be on 32's. Plus my gas milage is bad enough as it is. With my 28's I got around 250 before the idoit light came on. Now I get 180 to 200 if I am lucky. That is all hwy miles.
Man, something must be wrong if your jeep won't pull a steep hill w/31's.
I've got a buddy that had a 4.0L Wrangler that was lifted with 38" Super Swamper Irocs on it with stock motor, gears, and auto tranny and he hauled balls all the time everywhere and we live in the mountains.
But I understand about that gas mileage!!

I am still getting around 250-270 mpg (mostly highway). I never knew that having the auto would put that much of a damper on gas consumption.

I can say I have never gotten 270. Closest I have came is 260. I have a lead foot going around Atlanta though and the tires are not really street tires. The knobs are huge!. So that could be why. Also don't you have 3.73 gears or something? that would help you out more than these 3.07s.
Crystal sorry but I doubt your buddies jeep hauled balls. Jeeps are slow as hell (compared to a cavy). Also your buddy must of had a dana 44 and 4.10 gears. they come stock on the Rubi but also came on lesser model jeeps, the sports if I remember correctly. Even with 4.10s running on 38's with and auto he/she would have to floor it to keep up speed on steep hills. Most 4.10 jeepers run 35's then upgrade when going bigger.
wow ferrari your lift came out awesome. how many inches up total are you now...you look like your almost up to my Zuk's. They have 6 inches of lift. Also if you do 90% street driving it's best to get BFG A/T KO's and pump them up to they're max PSI listed on the sidewall. you'll get great gas mileage that way, and you just "air down" when you get on the trails.

^Thanks bro, not sure about the total lift I am estimating maybe 3.5-4.5" Waiting to line up with some other lifted jeep and see... also waiting to get some 33s!
You need to lay off the skinny pedal! Big difference there, also if cruize at a slower speed. I would make a 3 trip to the beach every weekend and the difference between cruizing at 55 and at 65 is F-ing amazing....

It was a Sport (it's totalled now). I rode in it when it had 35's on it and it hauled some ass pulling hills and stuff. But for a stock jeep with that much of a lift on it and 38's, he was always driving pretty fast when he passed me on the road. I wished I had a picture of it...only have pics of his tahoe, tho.

BTW, I didn't know that the Sports had a dana 44 and 4.10 gears in them. But I know now!
