This episode just came out this past Sunday.
Jeremy was pretty harsh on the regular C6 if I remember correctly. He was certainly critical of the rear suspension.
I was wondering how fast this was going to show up here. I like the bit about the sat nav.

He was extremely harder on the viper R/t 10 he tested at the same time!
But a couple questions!
What cars are at the top of his list?
What are the long strings of paper seperating?
Why does it seem in every AMERICAN episode, he wants an ultimate top notch performer with a caddy's ride, but when testing the Zonda, Atom, Enzo, etc he never bring up the ride stiffness or softness??
Ok, and I love that test driver they have, he rocks that track everytime. haha!

This week on Top Gear, we annoyed listeners of a local radio station, Richard annoyed an iceberg by crashing into it and the hills are alive, with the sound of Jeremy driving a Jaguar.
Corvette Z06
We all know about American cars. They look great and they sound superb, a result of having some of the most ridiculous sized engines in the known universe. But when it comes to their driving performance, they are often a little less than perfect.
Okay, most American cars can chug along a nice straight track with no problems. But when it comes to negotiating those most rare of things, a corner, they just fall to pieces, sometimes literally.
The Z06 has a V8 engine. But more impressive than that, it has a gas tanker emptying, seven litre engine which can knock out 500bhp. The engine is so remarkable, that it can go from 0-175 all in fifth gear.
And all this for just £60,000.
But do we recommend it? Well, not really. The problem being, off the track and on a road, the car is truly unmanageable, the ride is awful, the engine sounds like it's being fuelled by spanners, it's too wide, it will shake your bones to dust and the gearbox feels like it's out of a tractor.
Star in a reasonably priced car
This week, we saw the return of a guest who drove in our Liana. Super sweary Gordon Ramsay joined us for a chat, a complimentary cup of tea, and some crisps. He then went on to show he's still got what it takes, as he hit the top of our all new leader board.
DID anyone sit in this car and shift gears? is it realy like a tractor?

I love that show but i @!#$ hate the host. He just hates americans and our cars. He talks @!#$ about every car we have and then compares them to rides that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars...

haha was that him? I read it in one of the bigger car magazines, about how the car alarm would go off and shut down the car, and then the company would call his cell phone and tell him it was stolen, While he was in it.
Having riden in a new C6Z i can attest to the semi-harsh ride. I went with a friend of mine on a cruise with the local Corvette club for an evening and after sitting for like 30 minutes it started to get uncomfortable. But that is all forgotten with the simple act of pushing the right pedal. The acceleration is absolutly amazing. And the g-forces are pretty intense during full acceleration, couldn't move my head away from the headrest. And after riding in it i can totally see how someone with no, or little, skill at driving a high performance vehicle can get into trouble real quick.
Jermey has always been harsh on basically anything except British cars, but thats why i love watching it. And in the end he actually said that if you want to drive a Corvette on the road, buy a regular one.

Bought sold and then bought back again if I remember right.. Despite all it's faults he really does love the Ford GT.
Oh and the joke about the Koenigsegg isn't about how long the name is (Lamborghini is 1 letter longer ) it's because they originally spelt the name wrong when it first went on the board, someone made a comment about it a they "fixed" it.
yeah I did like the part about the iraq restarunts LOL.... after that was said... I have to get that car... "one day"

I love the show and I like that the host are pretty funny and quirky, but, they don't like American cars at all, simply because they're American.
