A little help finding my new car please
Thursday, May 11, 2006 5:44 PM
Ok so I am selling my truck for certain reasons and now Im in the market for a new vehicle.

Any ideas you guys can throw out there will help me.

Must have
Comfortable room for four
Decent gas milage
Auto Trans
Ground clearance must be decent due to michigna
Prefer fwd
Low miles
under 20K

My number one choice right now is a Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan I really like them and have found some for 18K with low miles.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Nissan Maxima's, Nissan Altimas. Both are solid cars which have a lot of room in the back seats.

Mmmm...saw an Altima Se-R the other day. Car was hott. I didn't really like the cars before, but once Nissan finally brought the 3.5 into em, I think I'd rock one.

The 3.5 has been an option on the SE since they re-vamped the body IIRC.

I'm not sure what is different on the SE-R other than the leather and rims...

MY advice to you is dont buy a saab if you cant afford to fix it, My mom got a saab a year or so ago, and cant get parts for it anywhere around here and no garage will work on it EXCEPT the saab dealer who charges you out the ass to fix it.

I like the Vue but everyone I look at is mid 20's around my area. Even with discount they still go for $22.....IDK maybe I should look harder lol my neighbor has one and he loves it......

Matrix/Vibe----Dont like the body style at all.....

Look at Subaru Legacy
Even better it has AWD too.
AWD > FWD

I thought they only recently brought in the 3.5? I remember seeing only them badged as 2.5's until just recently. Maybe the 3.5's just recently caught on in popularity in my area.

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.
ZZP XP cam, 1.6 rockers, 105# springs, speedbuilt FWI, 3.3" modular pulley, TOG headers,
3" exhaust, flomatched injectors

Saturn VUE i think is a great pick....you should be able to get the 4 banger for under 20K i would think

how about a Chevy impalla??? big, comforatable, gets decent gas millage, has a good crash test rating, and consumer reports claims it has a good reliablity record.

I wouldn't get the 4 cyl Vue.. Unless you go with an 06.. Anything below the 06 it has the 2.2 eco.. And it's way too heavy for that.. The 2.4 VVT in the 06 helps a little though.
