I had a great time.
Car did about what I expected. Not much traction...lots of spinning through first gear. Enough that you could feel the torque curve drop off and it would hook tossing the car forward nicely.
Still....2.2xx 60's.

Good ol' Bandimere.
Using this as my background right now.
I didn't even know this was coming. Apparently the organizers were setting up a couple of awards. They asked random people to give out the number of the car they thought looked the best. I got second place.
I don't even consider my car a show car.
Slip....Kinda hard to read. Track's printer was low on ink.
12.64 at 115.44 MPH.
NHRA adjusted for altitude - 11.72 at 124.36
DA for that run was 7400.
I didn't get many pics. Was too busy.

I love your T/A its soo freakin sweet. If I were to get a new F-body it would be a black T/A without a doubt.
12.6 is a nice time. You are much faster though. Even with the adjusted altitude I think you can do better. I bet you have a low 11 second car on your hands. Get some traction and see how you do. Ever thought about putting her on the bottle?
What mods do you have as far as suspension? I know you have springs but any upper strut tower bar, sub frame connectors, struts? Susepsion mods are real important in the F-body for that much power. I would worry about Sub Frame Connectors before traction if you don't already have them. You're going to get body flex like a mofo. I've heard it getting as bad as people cracking their dash. That was a 3rd gen I believe but I hear its still as bad in the 4th gen.
Well enough rambeling point being.....your car not only looks sexy as hell but is just as fast to match it. Good job.
Subframe connectors
Torque arm
Panhard bar
Strut tower brace
LCA's
LCA relocation brackets
Eibach ProKit
I am thinking the best I can do here is mid to upper 11's. Which would be a 10 second car at sea level. I can deal with that.
No bottle. I know the motor would LOVE it, but I want 'always on' power.
I need to dial in the suspension, and get me a 12 bolt. Then its on.

I see what you mean by "...not much traction..." It looked like you weren't going anywhere for the first little bit after the launch, lol.
Everyone that was running Nittos that day couldn't hook.
Actually glad I didn't. Found out today I had some lugnuts crossed-threaded on the passenger side. Would have sucked to pop off a stud trying to hook.

my buddies 69 nova with a 400 mouse with vortec heads th-400 and 3:77 gears with full slicks ran a 12.6x@106. you have about a 10mph higher trap speed, if you can get that thing to hook.. thats an easy 11 second car.
nice times man. damn that car sounds mean
I won't be changing tires until I have a 12 bolt rear end installed.
I know there are serious traction issues. Probably a good thing though....keep that rear end in there for now.
