Ron Patrick spent $250,000 on his VW project. It took four years to complete. He did computerized structural and stability analyses. Steel conduits flow from the engine into the car's bowels.

sorry, but i can't believe that a jet engine with enough thrust to actually push that 3000 lbs car any faster than stock, isn't sucking the driver right out of the driver seat and through the turbine into a gooey mess....
