Volkswagen GTI Aftermarket

Does anybody know any sites where I can find aftermarket parts for say an 02-03 GTI 1.8T? I am looking at purchasing one eventually and I'm not having any luck finding good forums/aftermarket parts. Thanks in advance.

Man, there's TONS of sites out there....I have a bunch of links at home, this is all I can think of off the top of my head.

APR
ECStuning
AMI Motorsports (canadian)
QMR Motorports (canadian)

What specifically are you looking for?

I would strongly recommend ecstuning.com... also APR for chiptuning and Neuspeed only if you're feeling rich.

I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.

Neuspeed is shyte, any modifications you do will void your warranty, if you dont care go with GIAC X+ software and youll get alot more power, im going revo this weekend. Your best friend will become the vwvortex forums, hard to navigate but youg et used to them quick and they have a hige database on subjects like this. I dont know if you want to modify like OEM parts or what, but that is the trend with VWs, OEM plus. Lotsa nice stuff to choose from, and tons of aftermarket support.

Yea. I basically would like to do a lot to the motor..maybe add a real clean lip kit on there..something similar to the R32 kit. Then just put some wheels on and slam it.

Motor = Chip, Exhaust, upgraded side mount intercooler, Diverter Valve. If you want more performance, a turbo upgrade is really the only thing worth the money

Lip kit = Lots of choices and styles, I got the GLI front lip (Jetta), there's always the 25th AE front lip for golfs, or the R32 kit like you mentioned.

Wheels = Lots of choices, most will tell you to go with something uber expensive like BBS, OZ, HRE, I went with something cheaper with good rubber Muahahaha

Suspension drop= Depends on what you want. Choices are coilovers or drop springs. Bilstein, H&R, Koni, Eibach, KW, etc...Are all names you should become familiar with.

Neuspeed sucks donkey balls. Dont buy anything from them except for their rear sway bar, it's adjustable and it works great.

ECS is a good shop, unless they screw up your order, then you see what their customer service is like...

All I gotta say is, do it once, so it right!

Here are my 2 hoes from last summer (old pic)

no offense man, but are you retarded? you can't throw a stick without hitting a vw performance parts company.... but as friendly advice, avoid neuspeed and EIP like the plague. Take that advice, or don't, but if you don't, you'll know it was a mistake pretty quickly.
