2006 Honda CBR600RR in Light Silver Metallic.
i picked it up this afternoon with 7 miles on it. this was an upgrade from a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. wow, what an upgrade. i got 63 miles on the odometer now, and too bad it's supposed to rain tomorrow or else i'd be adding to that. god damn this thing is fast, and i haven't even had it above 8K rpms yet! the tranny is so close there is no messin around when it comes to shifting, you either do it fast or get jerked around like a porn star's wang. good golly miss molly, i think i'm in love. if i could get into my bedroom, i think i would sleep with it. better yet, i can just move my bed into the garage!

shifted- i didn't realize it til the other day, but this particular dealer (rob's performance out of johnson creek) buys used bikes. they gave me a very good price on the trade-in and a good deal on the 600.
gonzo- it was either this or a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, i think i made a good choice.
ps, does anyone know of any forums for the 600RR or any aftermarket equipment websites?

It's definetly fun, but bein' pretty much IN Chicago is not good for bikes, heh. Traffic + No Lane Splitting + People that don't pay attention = Problem for bikers, lol. Esp a newb like me, all the miles I've rode are below (actually, a bit of that was put on by a local J) I picked it up with I think 5 miles. All that, and I'm startin' a new project (pickin' it up Sat) so I need more space and fewer bills...
