well, some friends and i took the opportunity while my blower and valve covers were off for my cam install to do some painting. 12 hours, 32 coats of paint, and a some good times later, and i must say, they didnt turn out that bad!
on to the pictures!
in the beginning
it was all a little dirty, ok a lot dirty. so cleaning came next
add some primer, paint, and such and you get
wait, that doesnt look good... that looks bad!
that's more like it!
and finally, in the car
along with the nicely painted blower went in a cam, headers, a tune, and some little things to go with the cam. i couldnt be happier with the way it turned out... well, besides the whole inevitable shred the tranny thing

what cam did you go with?
my buddy just picked up a ported m90 that was powdercoated by the previous owner. he's looking at the VS cam in hopes of saving the tranny. from the sounds of it, i'm guessing XP for you?

correct. went with the XP becuase it usually has better results. the VS is a little milder... and i wanted the nice lope

it's great... but not quite that good. and the headers definetly give it a V6 sound, but it's worth it. im runnin a 3.3" pulley right now pushin in about 10 lbs of boost and absolutly NO KR! not even false. i could probably drop to a 3" pulley, but i want to save my tranny for the time being.
