Pontiac will have a GXP Soltice in 2007. Power will be a new Ecotec (LNF) 2.0 L SIDI Turbo. The engine makes 260 HP @ 5300 rpm and 260 lb.ft from 2500 to 5300 rpm.The GM Powertrain site has more info. With the flat torque range this engine makes it should make for some great 1/4 mile times.

I'm guessing redline is 6500 rpm's like most GM engines are..

Would you rather feel like your driving a honda and have no power unless it sounds like the rubber bands are going to snap? Or have power some more useful like down low and in the middle where its used more.
