Well a few weeks ago I got to rie in a Jaguar XK8 and I splurched in my pants. It was so awesome. Anyways... fast forward a few weeks. My mom loved the Jag too. Tonight she called me and told me that she is the proud new owner of a 2002 Jaguar X-Type. It's a sweet car. Even though it's a sedan, it still can put a lot of sports cars to shame. Best part is I get to drive it whenever. God I am so happy. lol.
My neighbor has a silver one. Nice looking cars but I'm not too impressed with them. Congrats to you and your mom though!
X-type is a sweet ass ride.
the x-type is based on the Ford Mondeo, which is/was the Ford Contour here. So basically from what i was told the X-types are roughly polished Countour SVT's. and i love the CSVT...so i'm betting it's a sweet car

eh so what... I'm 17. lol.
Now how do you pronounce Jaguar? Your an owner so you better call it by its correct english name. It is not a Jag-wire nor a Jag-wore, It is pronounced Jag-u-are. Its an english car with an english name and I hope you do say it properly.
Oh and good buy they are awesome cars I've built several old ones and love them. Sadly they cost more then I can aford.

That's the only proper way to say it...

Well I know that but you know how most Americans are when it comes to pronouncing things.

I say make a post when u get ur own jag saying " I'm a Jag Man"
You think people look at you in jealousy as you drive passed them, they actually look at you and then start laughin at the kid who thinks he's kool driving his mommys car.
Kids who drive their parents cars stick out like they are driving the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile. They aren't impressed........TRUST ME.
Glad you get to enjoy it, but try not to play off like you 'own' it. YOU are not a jag man, your Mommy is. Hopefully you already know the worth of a buck and will work your ass off for one when you are older, then you can laugh your ass off at all us j-body drivers
I'd pick an older V-12 myself, just because a V6 Jag is entry level to say the least. And because you could get a faster car in the Lincoln LS w' the V8. YES it's the same car.
Dont get too excited ... its still your moms. Not to menion, how about you try driving a real car, then you shall see that the jag ... is just a taurus. Or for even that mater, drive a real luxury car, then you will see ... a jag is just a jag.

No, the S-type is the same car as a Lincoln LS. The X-type is based on a Ford Mondeo (I think) platform. Basically a Euro-Taurus.
