2003 5spd, turbo diesel. I got a black 2-door with a black/black interior and all the power options. This is going to be my new daily driver and I am chopping the sunbird apart and doing a custom bag set-up and many more crazy things. I think I am going to try and pick up a sponsorship on the bird and build it to the level it deserves, not just a big motor in an ugly shell.
SO.. the golf.. daily driver, can't stay stock..... It is getting some nice 19s, an R32 body kit, shaved hatch, shaved emblems (besides the TDI emblems) extended hood with eyelids and a set of kicker L7s in teh back in a wicked enclosure that I designed over the past few days. While the kit is of to swap on the R32 kit I am going to put a front mount on it. I'l also be throwing in .216 injector nozzles and a computer reflash but I think that is it for me with this car. I put the money down but I can't pick it up until I transfer my tags over and put insurance on it.

In about 2 months, you'll have completely forgotten about the sunbird and dumped all your money into the TDI
Chip, nozzles, and straight exhaust and you'll be laughing. You mentioned rims and R32 kit, but no drop?

The cool thing is you don't have to dump a bunch of money into a TDI. what you just mentioned would yeild around 150whp and 250wtq. That's enough for me. I will deffinately be dropping it with a good suspension system, but that isn't my top priority. I am going to completely do the sound system starting this coming weekend by installing a flip-out TV and some headrest monitors and getting started on the crazy sub box. It already has the monsoon system, I want to hear it all with the subs before I upgrade door speakers. This car is mostly just going to be an enjoyable daily driver.
